Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare radiation analysis for satellite payload systems
  • Prepare survivability/radiation shielding analysis for space environments such as Micrometeoroids, Atomic Oxygen, and Single Event Effects

An Aerospace Reliability Engineer provides system level reliability analyses, coordination, planning guidance, and support throughout the project life cycle in order to increase confidence in mission success, and help projects understand and manage a wide range of risks associated with each unique mission.

This is a contract position located in Southern California.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform various system level reliability analyses for multiple projects, review these analyses and generate relevant documentation in accordance with standard procedures of the customer.
  • Apply appropriate techniques and processes to quantitatively assess system risks, and recommend/evaluate architectural changes to system hardware, software, or flight operations in support of institutional and project level risk management processes.
  • Apply methods for acquiring quantitative failure statistics such as failure rates and probabilities from flight and test data.
  • Develop Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques for system reliability and integrate them within the MBSE infrastructure in place.

This is a Full-time position located in Austin, TX

You will work to build, deploy and support digital applications. The full stack developer will need to be able to code anywhere in our architecture, including UI/UX, Web Applications, SQL and NoSQL. Developers are responsible for their applications from concept all the way through to production.

Responsibilities:

  • Best practices for web application architecture including session management, caching, web services
  • How to code using OWASP security best practices
  • Strong understanding of SOLID coding principles
  • How to build efficient, secure, scalable and reliable applications to support a high transaction environment
  • Understanding of how to identify and diagnose performance issues and resolve them quickly
  • Experience working in a team-based environment with a shared code repository and version control
  • Understanding of JSON, XML, REST, MQTT, SOAP
  • Working alone or with a team (sometimes self-directed), delivering high-quality work
  • Work in Azure or AWS Cloud environments

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years developing web applications using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript as well as unit testing best practices
  • Minimum 2 years of building web applications using Angular and designing the UI/UX
  • Must have at least one web application developed from conception to production
  • Must have at least 1 year of Java experience

Desired Additional Skills:
